Your mailbox stays yours
Pipeluma connects to your Gmail to write drafts and follow replies. Here is exactly what it can do, what it reads, and how your data is kept apart and protected.
You press Send
By default nothing leaves your mailbox without you. Pipeluma writes drafts; sending is your click in Gmail.
Least access
Pipeluma asks Google only for what drafting, sending and reply detection need, and reads only the threads it is involved in.
Encrypted access
The access Google grants to your mailbox is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never shown in the interface.
Separate workspaces
Every record belongs to one workspace. Members of one workspace cannot see another's leads, emails or settings.
Everything logged
Discoveries, checks, drafts, sends, replies and rule actions are written to an event log you can read.
Opt-outs enforced
Unsubscribes and bounces go on a do-not-contact list that is checked every time an email is prepared.
What Pipeluma asks Google for, and why
You grant these permissions on Google's own screen when you connect your mailbox, and you can revoke them at any time in Settings or in your Google account.
Pipeluma does not read, index or store the rest of your inbox. It does not use your mailbox content to train AI models, it does not sell it, and nobody at Pipeluma reads it unless you ask us to for support, or the law requires it. Pipeluma's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI does the writing, not the deciding
Pipeluma uses language models to turn your description into a profile, to score companies, to find people on company pages, to write emails and to sort replies.
- Models see only what the task needs: your profile and the evidence on a lead when writing, the text of a reply when sorting it.
- We use providers that do not train their models on the data sent to them through their API.
- Every AI output is labelled as such in the app, and every email can be edited before it goes to Gmail.
- Fit scores explain themselves: each reason is listed with its source and date.
Leave whenever you want, with your data
- Disconnect a mailbox in Settings at any time; Pipeluma deletes the stored access.
- Remove leads and contacts whenever you like.
- Ask for an export or for your workspace to be deleted by writing to hello@pipeluma.com.
- People in your pipeline can opt out by replying, and the opt-out is honoured at once.
